4.3. Application form:
If you apply via our application form for an internship with a cooperation partner, we ask certain personal data from you. This specifically includes:
Name, first name, date of birth, E-mail, telephone or mobile number, type of professional training/study program.
We need this data in order to be able to handle the placement in the internship that you have selected and, if necessary, propose to you alternative suggestions for an internship with our cooperation partners.
In addition to these data, we also request the submission of an application video that you film by yourself. In this application video you will give us an overview of your professional / educational background, your travel experience you had so far as well as your motivations for the internship. We use the video instead of a detailed written application to be able to assign you to the requirement profile of your desired internship. If this is suitable, your data will also be transmitted to our respective cooperation partner, who are located most likely in a non-EU third country. The transmission of your data and the video only takes place with your explicit consent which we request in the application form.
Your application video will be stored on the servers of the provider “Vimeo” (Vimeo Inc., 555 West 18th Street, NY, New York 10011, USA). Your video will be allocated to the Tern-Up user account. Only this Tern-Up user account has access to your video. Your video can solely be watched by our Tern-Up user account. If suitable for a job profile, Tern-Up will provide the relevant cooperation partner with a link to your video on the Vimeo server. Under this link, the video can only be retrieved with a password. The video is not unlocked for download so that it cannot be downloaded. This ensures that only one copy of your video is stored on the Vimeo servers.
A comparison of this data with data which may be collected by other components of our website is not done.

Your data will be deleted once we have fully answered your inquiry and there is no further legal obligation to store your data, such as if an order or contract resulted there from.

If you send us inquiries via the contact form your details from the inquiry form including the contact details you provided there will be stored in order to process the request and follow-up questions. Your personal data will be stored and processed by us exclusively for the purpose of handling your request and may be transmitted to the respective cooperation partner, so that they can contact you by e-mail, telephone or post. We will not share this information without your consent. A comparison of this data with data which may be collected by other components of our website is not done.

If you contact us via a form on our website (especially the contact form and the application form) or you do an inquiry by e-mail, telephone or fax we collect from you certain personal data. Your personal data will be stored and processed by us exclusively for the purpose of handling your request and may be transmitted to the respective cooperation partner, so that they can contact you by e-mail, telephone or post.
Our partners are located in EU and non EU countries (hereafter called third countries). The add-on informs Google Analytics’ JavaScript (ga.js) that no information about the website visit should be transmitted to Google Analytics. Opt-out cookies will prevent future collection of your data when you visit this website. To prevent Universal Analytics from collecting data across different devices, you must opt-out on all systems used. Set the opt-out cookie with the “Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on” to disable Google Ananlytics.
